Terms of Service
These terms and conditions form part of the Contract between the Customer and Life Medical Healthcare Pte. Ltd., in relation to the products and services provided by the Company and all arising relevant aspects during the provision of services at our premises and/or with contract agreement between the Customer and the Company.
By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services.
The capitalized expressions herein and hereinafter shall have the following meaning:
“Provider” means the herein above TCM and chiropractic service provider at its/their premises in Singapore
“Customer” means either a female or male person. Accordingly, the gender term “she” or “her” means a female or a male customer as the case may be
“Service(s)” mean TCM or chiropractic services and treatments available from time to time from the Provider
“Product(s)” mean herbal medication, supplements, plasters, oil or other related products by Provider that can be used before, during or after Service(s) or as on their own.
“Packages” mean Services and/or Products purchased by Customer to be used or consumed progressively.
Patient’s Obligations
The Customer shall ensure that all health-related information declared is true and accurate to the best of their knowledge and that they have not withheld any material information that may influence the health assessment. In the event that there are changes to my health status or medical condition, the Customer is responsible to inform any change of personal information and health status on every visit, failing which The Company shall not hold any responsibility. The Customer agrees to have been informed that photographs might be taken for clinical records and subsequently, photographs may be retaken at the clinic’s discretion.
You have read and understood the above paragraphs and give your consent. You have been informed on the benefits, risks and possible complications of our products and services, and have had an opportunity to ask questions before proceeding with any treatments or prescriptions. You intend this consent to cover the entire course of treatment for your present condition and for any future conditions for which you seek treatment.
Insurance Claims
If you intend to make insurance claims, please inform our front desk upon registration. All insurance claim receipts must be requested on the day of visit, and it is compulsory to undergo physician’s consultation. Back-dated receipts are not allowed should the Customer request for the claim receipt after the day of visit. The licensed TCM physician has the final decision to reject to assist any insurance claims if deemed inappropriate.
The Customer is required to follow the physician’s prescriptions and/or respective treatments. Charges apply for special consultations with medical diagnosis report. Re-issuance of receipts will be charged at $10 after 5 days from date of visit, the re-issued receipt will be stamped as duplicate copy.
Exclusion and Limited Liability
Our medical services, treatments and products are prescribed or designed to improve your health concerns, and the outcome of treatment or prescription is subjective and may vary depending on individual circumstances. You agree that no guarantees or assurances have been made as to the results that may be obtained from acupuncture and other TCM treatments.
Our services, treatments and products are generally safe with minimal to no known side effects. The clinical staff is not expected to anticipate all possible risk and complications of the treatment. You have been notified with all the information and you are fully aware of the treatments and/or prescriptions provided to you.
In the event the customer may during or after Service(s)/Product(s) experience irritations or reactions which may or may not persist for some time and which the Provider shall not be held liable. These skin irritations and reactions may over time ease and/or fade away. The Customer accepts the abovementioned and Customer:
(i) shall as soon as practical inform the Provider in the event of such irritations or reactions to ask Provider to
(a) assist or advise as best as reasonably possible on usual ways to ease and/or reduce irritations or reactions; and/or
(b) ask Provider to duly note her information with a view to reviewing with Customer whether or how to vary or modify Services/Products to be
rendered in future; and/or
(ii) shall if in interest of prudence, even when symptoms are minor, consult her medical doctor; and/or
(iii) may allow reasonable time for nature to take its usual course.
The Customer understands the importance to consult a registered TCM practitioner regarding their condition before or any time during their treatment and that I may be advise against or rejected from treatment session if I am deemed unfit by the registered TCM practitioner on the day of my visit.
TCM Treatment modalities
During your course of treatment, our registered TCM practitioners may explore various TCM approaches to boost the effectiveness of healing process and holistic care. These methods may or may not require needle insertion and may include the use of electrical stimulation (such as electro-acupuncture), magnetic, light and sound energy. Heat therapies including but not limited to moxibustion, heat lamp and cupping may also be carried out during the treatment to optimise the treatment results. Electro- pen acupuncture uses gentle pulsating electrical current on specific acupuncture needles to elevate the stimulation of acupuncture points.
All patients will undergo a health assessment and/or consultation with our TCM practitioners before undertaking any forms of TCM treatment. Treatment plans are customised individually based on your health conditions. We would encourage Customers to clearly and accurately declare your medical condition/history during your initial visit and inform us of any medical changes during your course of treatment.

- Skin conditions such as Eczema, Psoriasis, Acne
- Pregnancy/Menstruation
- Open wound/Sensitive skin
- Blood disorders/Bleeds easily
- Tumours
Post Treatment Outcome
“Healing Crisis” is a temporary of symptoms that occurs after TCM treatments. As soon as the crisis subsides, patients will feel energized and rejuvenated.
Some patients may or may not experience the following symptoms after treatment which will usually last for a few days:
- Soreness or Redness – Mild redness, soreness or bruising may appear at the treatment areas, and this should subside within 3 to 5 days
- Bruising – Bruising is common symptom due to the broken blood vessels under the skin. It also indicates the level of stagnation in the body areas. These bruises should subside within 5 to 7 days.
- Mild Bleeding – Minor bleeding may occur during treatments. These are usually temporary and should heal in the next few days.
- Skin irritation/Blisters – Skin irritation and blisters may occur in some rare cases. Patients are to keep the affected area clean and avoid bursting of blisters. If discomfort is experienced, please contact our clinic immediately.
- Dizziness / Light-Headedness – Temporary symptoms such as fainting or dizziness may occur after the treatment due to changes in blood pressure or energy flow. Patients can lay flat and elevate their legs for relief. Such symptoms will subside within the day.
- Increased urination/bowel movements – Some patients may experience increased frequency/vol
Herbal Medication Prescription
Herbs are prescribed by registered TCM physicians to restore the meridian imbalances and improves the body’s vital energy. These herbs can be prescribed in forms of powder, solution or pastes which brings greater convenience to our patients. Some prescriptions may not be suitable for pregnant women or Customers who are planning for pregnancy, please notify our clinical staff or practitioners if you are pregnant or planning for pregnancy.
Herbal powder prescriptions are packed into sachet for convenient consumption. Instructions to the dosage and application will be clearly printed on the packaging of the medication. We will advice against disposing the packaging until the prescription is completed.
Feedback
It is important to provide feedback on your post treatment effects to our physician on your next visit. This allows us to understand how your body responds to the TCM treatments. Whenever in doubt or discomfort after your treatment, please contact our clinic immediately.
Payment Methods
We accept cash, NETS, PayNow, GrabPay, Visa and Mastercard.
Refund Policy
The Company curates affordable Packages for Customers who wishes to purchase multiple sessions in a single purchase. The Customer must be committed to complete the entire recommended course of Products/Services. The Company does not allow any refund after the cooling-off period if not due to medical ground or overseas relocation. All refunds or exchanges must be submitted in written notice to The Company and subjected to approval.
In the event of any renovation or relocation of premise(s) of the Company, prior notice shall be given by Provider to Customer as soon as reasonably practical.
The Company may at any time in good faith vary, modify or change treatment regime or processes in Services/Products in line with what the Company view as reasonably required or prudent or advisable taking into account market norms, latest trends or developments or replace or substitute Services and Products in the event of any circumstance(s) arise which are impractical for the Company or Customer to continue with the existing Services/Products.
The Company, at their sole discretion, agrees to grant the refund on an exceptional basis, the discounted rates quoted for your treatment course will no longer apply upon refund/cancellation of your balance unused treatment sessions. The Customer agrees that The Company will deduct based on the following:
- Refund policy for termination of treatments will incur an 8% administration fee for all un-utilized services.
- Bank Charges
- Cost of complimentary treatment/products/gifts given to the Customer
- Full-list ala carte price for all utilized sessions
Any refund for unused treatments is calculated by deducting the full-list price for all sessions already taken from the taken price of the course of treatment. Complimentary services included in the treatment course will not be refunded.
Return/Exchange Policy
All products sold excluding herbal prescription can be exchanged or refunded within 7 days in original condition and with proof of purchase (receipt). Any used or opened consumables will not be eligible for exchange or refund. The Company reserves the rights to replace all treatments, services and products with similar value.
Pre-paid Treatment Plans
Prepaid treatment plans must be utilized within the stipulated period. Unutilized treatments will be forfeited upon expiry date.
The above standard terms and conditions as set out hereinabove as Conditions are subject to periodic review and variations or amendments as exigencies of business may from time to time require. The Customer shall stay updated by referring to this website for latest information.
